WEBSITE VISITS AND SERVER LOGS
When you access our website, the web server processes connection data required for technical reasons. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested address, the HTTP status, the volume of data transferred, and information about your browser and, where applicable, the previously visited page. These data may be stored in server logs. No cookies are required for this. We process these data to provide the website, analyse errors and prevent misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing connection data is technically necessary to access the website. During normal operation, access logs are deleted after approximately two weeks through regular log rotation. In the event of a specific security incident, relevant extracts may be retained until the incident has been resolved or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
CONTACT BY EMAIL OR TELEPHONE
When you contact us, we process your contact details, the content of your enquiry and any documents you provide so that we can deal with your request. For contract-related enquiries, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We handle other enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective customers and business partners under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain the data for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up questions. We also retain data where statutory retention obligations apply or where they are needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. The relevant criteria are the nature and content of the enquiry, any resulting business relationship, and applicable retention and limitation periods. Providing your information is voluntary; however, we may be unable to answer your enquiry without the information needed to process it.
JOB APPLICATIONS
If you apply to us by email, we process your contact details and application documents to conduct the recruitment process and decide whether to enter into an employment relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. After the process has ended, the documents are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory obligations or legitimate interests in the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention. Inclusion in an applicant pool beyond this period requires your separate consent.
COOKIES, FONTS AND EXTERNAL CONTENT
The public website does not set analytics or marketing cookies and does not use embedded visitor-measurement services. It uses system fonts available on your device; font files are not loaded from external font providers. Images and website files are provided by this website’s web server. External databases and further resources are provided as links. You access the respective service only when you open a link. The privacy notice of the respective operator then applies. This notice relates to the public website, not to separate customer applications.
RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSING
Personal data are accessible to the people responsible for handling the relevant matter. Where necessary for operation and communication, our IT, hosting and email service providers may also process data. Providers acting on our behalf are engaged in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. Other disclosures take place where necessary to perform a contract or comply with legal obligations. The public website does not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact datenschutz@zollplus.com or write to Zoll Plus Dienstleistungs GmbH, Bauernstraße 1, 4600 Wels, Austria.
